Adopters must be at least 18 years old and never have been convicted of any form of abuse. We will need to see a valid ID for a background check. We will verify that you can have pets where you live. Must reside within 200 miles of the cafe. Application can take up to 10 days to process. Applying does not guarantee you will be approved. Applicants are reviewed by our team, our partners & a third party. Those that appear to be the best match will move onto the interview process. You will be notified via email of the decision.
Cats that come from shelters, rescues, and group environments can be exposed to illness despite all the precautions we take. A cat can seem healthy at the time of adoption then develop symptoms a few days after getting home due to exposure and the stress of change. It is important to keep the new cat separate from the current cats to prevent spread of a possible illness that hasn’t shown symptoms yet.
